DIRECTOR – GLOBAL ENGINEERING MAINTENANCE – MARINE/PORT TERMINALS  
Our client is a leading, innovative and pioneering International Container Port Management, Operations and Development Company supplying services to their client’s worldwide, including Asia, Australia, the Indian Subcontinent, the Middle East, Africa, Europe and the Americas.

They are currently seeking a Director for Global Engineering Maintenance to be based at their HQ in Manila, Philippines.  The role will also involve worldwide travel to the Group’s Subsidiaries.   

Role Description:

The Director, Global Engineering Maintenance plans for and directs the development and preparation of programs, processes, plans, specifications, special studies and cost estimates for the Port’s capital improvement and major maintenance and repair projects.

I.    Essential Functions: 
·         Directs the preparation of plans, specifications, designs, estimates and schedules for capital improvement and major maintenance and repair projects. ·         Monitor progress of capital improvement and major maintenance and repair projects in the field.
·         Evaluate the level of service provided as a basis for making improvements to productivity, cost effectiveness and periodic progress payments.
·         Evaluate work methods and procedures, staffing, scheduling practices, productivity and costs.
 ·         Develops and/or reviews policies, procedures and programs, identifies and resolves issues, and develops compliance and implementation strategies which affect the development of capital improvement plans, major maintenance of Port infrastructure and environmental compliance activity.
·         Ensure all equipment and materials and procedures utilized during all the engineering functions are suitable, safe and in accordance with relevant standards and company requirements.
·         Maintains and improves the Port’s preventative maintenance program, including developing and monitoring maintenance plans and related documentation systems.
·         Lead the Maintenance Transformation process in all Client’s Terminals. Promoting the best practices and continues improvement in the industry. ·         Develop and establish sustainable maintenance minimum standards for equipment and facilities.
 ·         Develop and establish minimum standards for Inventories Administration.
 ·         Develop and rollout the Company’s Capability Building Center.
 ·         Conduct annual audits on maintenance and inventory processes at all Terminals within the group.
·         Complete any other nominated tasks as requested by the VP Engineering or company directors. 

II.    Job Requirements and Competencies  
a.    Skills and Abilities:

b.    Knowledge and Experience:
 ·         Familiarity and detailed knowledge of port infrastructure considered an advantage.
·         Experience leading RCM and 5S processes is definitely an advantage.

Our client is a Western Owner’s Engineer providing Project Management and Consultancy Services in the power industry.  They are seeking a LEAD QA/QC QUALITY SITE ENGINEER to be located in Saudi Arabia (Northern area) for the construction of an integrated Solar and Combined Cycle 1050 MW (ISCC) Power Plant Project.  
Candidates should preferably have a BSc degree and must be a qualified IRCA LEAD AUDITOR and a highly qualified welding inspector or material specialist (AWS/CSWIP/ASNT Level II) having minimum 10-15 years of Site Construction Supervision experience of large Projects including preferably experience in QA/QC in similar type of Thermal Power Projects including static pressure equipment and rotating equipment.
Thorough knowledge of relevant International Standards and proficient in relevant software including MS Office and MIS, QA/QC implementation Procedures, and have good English communication skills and leadership qualities.  
Previous working experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is an advantage.

Our client is responsible for the Operations and Maintenance of a Power & Water Desalination Production Plant located in Abu Dhabi, UAE.  They are currently seeking Day Shift Operations Manager reporting to the Operations Director.
The Main Responsibilities are:-

Ensure the staff (nationals and Expats) during the shift follows Company HSE practice.
Coach shift managers to better their involvement and ownership on plant actitivies.
Improve nationals and expats plant operation experience through practical start-ups, shut downs and troubleshooting, RCA. 
Adhering with Operations Excellence and performance programs.Ensure that nationals are engaged in operations activities at all times.
Monitor national staff participation and counsel those which are not meeting the minimum attendance.
Ensure all decisions are risk assessed and make business sense.Promote cross training among the operations staff

Individual Responsibilities:-
Can hold a Senior Authorised Person for PTW.
Understand the Emergency Response Plant as well as the Business Continuity Plan.
Appropriate charge handing over and taking over thorough gap analysis.
Can read all electrical single line drawings.Understands the electrical switching interlocks.
Can make switching plans and get them actioned by control room engineers.Knows the emergency procedures including black out procedure, environmental or safety emergency procedures.
Can read off the P&IDs of all the Plant.Experience working with CMMS (Maximo is an asset).
Understanding of plant control logic.Responsible for ensuring correct condition monitoring of plant equipment and help ops staff to take corrective actions.
Able to analyse the plant upset/trip reasons.Conversant with plant operating procedures.

1.    Guides and coaches the staff in all operational activities
2.    Ensures communication is carried out only in English  

Candidate Specification:

Degree in Engineering or equivalent training and experience
10 or more years’ operation experience in a large power plant with multiple technologies 2000MW or larger, either conventional and/or large combined cycle.

LEAD ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEERS – IRELAND  
Our client is an Owner’s Engineer providing Project Management and Consultancy Services in the power industry.  They are currently involved with new construction Power & Sola Projects in Saudi Arabia.  They are currently seeking Lead Electrical Design Engineers to be based at their offices in Dublin for employment contracts of 6, 12 or 24 months on fixed term employment contract or weekly/daily rates.   Candidates should be lead Electrical Engineers with 10+ years’ experience in power generation, esp. large CCGT projects to perform design review/bid review on large CCGT projects.  Co-ordinate owner’s engineer design review process including document review, design review meetings and factory acceptance tests as required. Experience in design review of large power generation stations, including equipment selection, review of electrical studies and overall plant design co-ordination against user specifications, relevant standards and international best practice. The candidate should have strong communication and organisation skills to co-ordinate input from multiple parties and interface with Client and Contractors teams.
Typical responsibilities include:
 •              Lead Design review process for electrical plant on CCGT developments co-ordinating input from specialist disciplines as necessary.

DEPUTY PLANT MANAGER – IWSPP Power Plant Project – SAUDI ARABIA

Our client is involved with the development and operation of the Rabigh IWSPP Project and is the Utilities provider (power, water, steam) within the Rabigh complex, the integrated refinery and petrochemical complex located north of Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  Our client’s conventional thermal power plant consists of steam generator units with electrostatic precipitators, wet limestone FGD units and steam turbine generators all supplied by its EPC Contractor. Its main operations focus in ensuring continuous and uninterrupted supply of power requirements of Petro-Rabigh.   They are currently seeking to recruit a DEPUTY PLANT MANAGER.

The Plant Management provides overall leadership for the company and its employees.  It oversees, monitors and develops the overall plant performance covering desalination, power and steam operations, ensuring the plant reliability and capacity are kept to the most desirable level.  The main thrust is to ensure continuous and uninterrupted operation of the plant through well-coordinated activities between departments and the companies.  The Deputy Plant Manager provides support to the Plant Manager in ensuring that all activities of the three major departments, ie. Power, Desalination and Maintenance, are well co-ordinated as well with the off-taker in order to guarantee safe, continuous and uninterrupted operations.
The Deputy Plant Manager Coordinates activities of O&M technical and administrative support teams (Technical Office, Supply Chain, Procurement, Warehouse, Materials Control, IT & Administration).
Oversees staff’s performance to maintain safe and efficient operations of the plant.
Analyzes budget impact and coordinate overhaul cost with Finance Department.

Through its 3 sections - Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation & Control - the department provides full technical maintenance support and corresponding administrative, managerial and supervisory functions to all operating units at the plant site. This is to ensure efficiency, reliability, and availability of all plant equipment. These are done through systematic:
 Preventive maintenance to avoid failures, unnecessary production loss and safety violations.

The Support Service Sr. Manager provides overall leadership for the Support Service functions and its employees. Our client is involved with the development and operation of the Rabigh IWSPP Project and is the Utilities provider (power, water, steam) within the Rabigh complex, the integrated refinery and petrochemical complex located north of Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  The IWSPP (Independent Water Steam Power Producer) is a conventional thermal power plant and desalination facility with a contractual capacity of 360 MW net power output, 1,230 t/h net steam output and 5,580 t/h net water output.  The plant comprises steam generator units with electrostatic precipitators, wet limestone FGD units, steam turbine generators, seawater RO desalination trains and associated auxiliaries. The plant utilizes Heavy Fuel Oil to generate the electrical power and desalination is undertaken with Reverse Osmosis.   We are seeking to recruit a Manager of Projects (Maintenance) to:-
 -          Manage engineering, improvement and implementation projects related to the IWSPP
-          Manage/action major changes to plant and processes (MOC)
-          Plan and lead all activities relating to total planned facility shut down (T&I) -          Provide expert level project support to other departments as needed -          Manage and execute major plant operational CAPEX items
 -          Interface with key external stakeholders with regards to audits, insurance matters, etc.

LEAD PROCESS ENGINEER – Refinery Upgrade / Hydrocracker Project - Bahrain 

Our client is the leading provider of international professional engineering services to the Energy, Resource and Complex Process Industries in the Middle East.  They have been awarded the PMC contract for the upgrade of an existing refinery to increase output.   This is a five year project and will involve nine new units being integrated with fourteen existing units, including a residue hydrocracker, vacuum gas oil hydrocracker, diesel hydrotreater, sulfer recovery unit, and delayed coker unit.   The FEED has been completed and the EPC packages are just going out to bid.

We are seeking a Lead Process Engineer – Residue Hydrocracker Unit (RHCU) for a start as soon as possible.  Candidates must have a minimum of 15 years engineering DESIGN experience with the vast majority of this involved in different refinery process units. This absolutely must include RHCU’s and other hydrocracker units. Other experience may include Diesel Hydrotreaters, (DHT), Vacuum Distillation Units (VDU), Vacuum Gas Oil (VGO) Hydrotreaters and Fluid Catalytic Cracking Units (FCCU) etc.

The role will initially be based at our client’s offices in Bahrain for 9-12 months and there then may be a need to relocate for approx. 18 months to the EPC location (depending on EPC award, could be S.
