They are currently seeking an ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER for a new construction plant project in Arizona.

Experience in the Semi-conductor industry is essential.

Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for the design from the concept to detail engineering. Responsibilities will include implementing project policies, systems & procedures. Coordinating with the Lead Engineer, studying specifications and procedures for engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

They are currently seeking a PROCESS ENGINEER for new construction plant project in Arizona.

The Process Engineer (Semi-Conductor Industry) is responsible for Design Engineering works for the project, taking ownership of design work packs and managing from design phase through to construction phase. This challenging position involves working as part of a multi-discipline, highly interactive and coordinated team focused on semiconductor manufacturing projects.

Key Responsibilities

·        Responsibilities will include implementing project policies, systems & procedures.  Coordinating with the Engineering Manager, studying specifications and procedures for engineering.

·        You’ll work on projects from concept stage right up through to completion and depending on the various stage of the project.

Job Description

Having oversight of a specific area and establishing a course of action within limits of company practices and guidelines, the purpose of this position is to perform the essential job duties and functions as listed below with the overall objective of establishing an execution framework on the project that complies with the contract and ensures the safety, quality, value, timeliness, and profitability of the completed project. This position performs project management responsibilities on a small to medium sized, low to moderate risk engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction/construction management (EPFC/CM) or services project (as defined by the Business Line) or on an assigned segment of a larger project, including coordination of design, procurement, and construction activities. When assigned to only a segment of a larger project, this role develops a complete understanding of the contract and any relevant subcontracts in order to provide full support to the project management team. When acting in the role of a Proposal Manager, this position is responsible for managing completion of technical and commercial proposals, providing project planning, means and methods of project execution, schedule preparation, cost estimating, and proposal strategy.
• Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) is emphasized throughout all phases of the project
• Develop a complete understanding of the prime contract and relevant subcontracts
• Collaborate in the preparation of the project in accordance with the Company’s contractual obligations,  Operating System Requirements (OSR) and the relevant Operating System Implementation Plan (OSIP)
• Verify with the Project Director (PD) that project requirements for Baseline Centric Execution, safety, quality, cost, and productivity are met in all locations managed by the Company where work is being performed
• Draft for the Project Director (PD) approval the project baseline (as defined in the OSR) and verify that it is fully documented, updated, and communicated to the project team as appropriate , and match to contract scope of work and responsibilities
• Support the PD to deliver the project in accordance with the project execution and commercial baselines
• Other duties as assigned

 

Basic Job Requirements

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and eight (8) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal twelve (12) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, co-workers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Project or area management experience in international locations and diverse cultural environments is recommended
• Demonstration of successful performance as Project Manager on a minimum of two (2) small to medium sized projects or in significant positions on large to very large sized engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction/construction management (EPFC/CM) projects
• Completed all required in-house project management courses in addition to courses obtained from university or other qualified sources

The Company is executing DDR Membrane Demonstration Test Project in Vanderbilt, Texas.  They have already completed the fabrication and installation of the facility in June 2022 and the facility is now being commissioned.

They require Facility Operation and Maintenance Staff to join to the operation of the facility and to support the execution of test operation by following the Company’s instructions as below:-

Demonstration Facility Operation:

• Operates hand valves in the facility during start-up, train switching, and shutdown.  To provide safe operation procedures (SOP) of the demonstration facility and to train the staff before assigning to the operation.

 • Operates Human-Machine Interface (HMI) for controlling the facility. The Company to provide the instructions for HMI operation.

 • Monitors operating conditions on HMI during stable operation.

• Patrols the facility during stable operation.

 • Helps setting up temporary measurement apparatus for troubleshooting of the facility.

External link opens in new tab or windowOur client is involved with various Engineering projects worldwide, managing and delivering project solutions to the Construction, Infrastructure, Oil, Gas, Chemical and Production Industries.  They are currently seeking a General Manager to be located in Saudi Arabia as the Owner’s representative in the country, to ensure all statutory and legal requirements are met with full compliance to safety and quality.  The GM is committed to achieving and delivering a business plan and generating and ensuring a two-year sales order book for the company, playing a key role in developing business in the region. 

Candidates should be degree qualified in ELECRICAL OR INSTRUMENT engineering and management, and from the Oil & Gas and/or Hi-Tech industry with at least 15 years’ experience and 5 years in the management capacity in the oil and gas or Hi-Tech industry, with a proven track record of developing proposals and delivering sales and capable of managing USD$100m business plus outstanding leadership skills, good business acumen, strong strategic and analytical skills and knowledge and experience of international business.  Preferably with previous experience working in Saudi Arabia or other Middle Eastern countries.

Responsibilities will include Team motivation and management, development of the country’s systems, running the business in an organized and disciplined manner, driving the business forward and delivering profits.  Responsible overall for the Quality Assurance and Control Management, HSE, Financial Control, Business Development, Project Control and Commercial Risk, Program Management, Staffing, Lead and Control, HR in conjunction with the relevant aforementioned Departmental Managers.
